During their vacations, they are allowed to work full-time as the Ministry of Manpower has exempted them from applying for work permits.
The international students in private institutions are not allowed to work in Singapore at all, unless their course of study requires that they fulfill a certain number of hours as part of their curriculum.It is strongly advised that you ensure you meet the conditions and seek the approval from your institution before you look for employment. In most cases, the employer may require a letter of authorisation from the approved institutions to ensure that the students are allowed to work during their stay.
